Re: How worried should I be about this?

I would not be to worried. Looks like ac voltage build up. Years ago this happened inside distributer caps and sometimes piled up over top of GM ignition modules. People use to scrape there caps thinking it would help.....not ! This is not uncommon to see. Move the coil and boot to another cylinder...

How worried should I be about this?

Pulled the plugs in Autumn's Mazda3. One of these things is not like the others..... https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-kUz5zrYgKcE/VBNfnkGGKRI/AAAAAAAAIVw/ryBmNQzdFGo/s800/20140912_163027.jpg Why yes, that is corrosion residue coating the bottom half inch of the socket.... most of the white powder ...

It isn't illegal, just purely driven by malice. And the malice seems to be driven by mental illness, not logic or my wonderful personality.

I'd love to plug the hose. Or cleverly reroute it. But i won't.

Re: Old topic, new post...Availability of 93 Octane?

Anybody know where I can obtain 93 Octane? Thought I would start a list. I know the Four Corners Store in West Gardiner sells it but was wondering if anyplace near Brunswick sells it as I am headed that way early tomorrow morning. Brighton ave at the bottom of the hill from brighton first care (or ...

Re: off topic: crazy neighbor; ideas?

8 ft fence has been there since we moved in. It sort of ends at our house, so there is a 15 ft section of the boundary that has building instead of fence, and we have all but abandoned the part of our land on the other side. I have encouraged shrubbery to grow against the fence, cutting the hedges o...

off topic: crazy neighbor; ideas?

Back story: I have a neighbor who, 9 years ago when we moved in, announced that we wouldn't get along because he didn't get along with the previous owners of my house. This has, for the most part, been both true and irrelevant. He does lots of passive agressive things which we largely ignore. His s...

Progress slowed to an... even slower... crawl. For example, stripped thread on the engine mounting pad on the firewall in a location i couldn't fit a tap... Now fixed. Bats in the belfry???? Are you calling me crazy? Not that it rules it out, but I did post a picture of the bat... The closest thing we have to a belfry is our living room, which has a rosewood Sonor Meisterklasse bass xylophone in it... But I don't think bats like bells so much as places to ...

Re: 50% off!

I think Andrew worked this out with the guy (when he told me he called him by name, I just don't remember) when he had his new tires mounted for the Miata. As I recall, the guy already had the offer for motorsports but didn't know about CMC.

Re: Project Analysis Paralysis - Round Two

today's progress: I let the magic smoke out of my backup angle grinder. I found my corded drill. I made this bracket: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-q5H4ve7s_ao/U97bCCxA9EI/AAAAAAAAIKA/shG2mn5fQ4A/s640/20140803_163012.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Dor5kIijjeM/U97a00cUclI/AAAAAAAAIJ4/gpD...
